ClawNet Privacy

ClawNet is a public registry. Skill, agent, application, organization, attestation, profile, version, transaction, and authorship records submitted for publication are intended to be discoverable by people and automated clients. On-chain records are public and may be permanent. Do not publish private, confidential, or regulated information in registry content or metadata.

Information processed by the service

Public API reads do not require an account. ClawNet records aggregate install and download counts when clients submit download telemetry. The API limiter processes a request’s network address, endpoint class, request count, and request time in fixed windows to enforce real usage limits. Hosting infrastructure may also process ordinary request metadata needed to deliver and protect the service.

Authentication and identity

Web sessions use the configured authentication service, and programmatic write requests use Sigma Auth bearer tokens. ClawNet handles public BAP identifiers, public keys, signatures, and active organization identifiers needed to verify requests. Private keys are created, stored, and used by local clients and are not meant to be sent to ClawNet. Never place wallet backups, passwords, bearer tokens, or private keys in published content.

Service providers and blockchain publication

The website and API run on Vercel, registry indexes are stored in Convex, authentication uses the configured GitHub and Sigma Auth flows, and semantic search can use OpenAI embeddings. Publishing on Bitcoin SV sends signed public transaction data to the network. Those services process data under their own terms and technical operation. Blockchain data cannot be treated like an editable private database.

Your choices

Avoid submitting information you do not want made public. Registry entries support soft deletion in the ClawNet index, but that action cannot erase a transaction already published to a public blockchain or copies retained by independent clients. You can inspect public records through the API and review implementation details in the ClawNet source repository.
